Having a clear intention helps you ask better questions, interpret messages more deeply, and get the most out of your card reading
Find a quiet, calm place where you can be alone during the card reading session. Readings are channeled through energy, and if there are other people or a lot of activity around you (e.g., a coffee shop), this could impact the quality of the reading you receive.
Light a white candle in your space to invoke illumination and light into your energy space.

Card readings should be immersive and intentional, not rushed or distracted. There may sometimes be brief moments of silence during the reading; take these moments to meditate on your needs and fully absorb the messages you are receiving. Have your question(s) in mind and open your energy with deep breaths before the session. Having an open mind and releasing expectations goes a long way. You may be surprised by what comes through.
Honesty is important for successful reading. Sometimes unexpected messages come through, and being honest is critically important for the proper interpretation. My job is not to judge, but to empower, strengthen, and support you in your path. I cannot do my job if you are not honest about what is happening in your life, especially if it is affecting you in your waking life, consciously and unconsciously.
Mutual confidentiality and professionalism is of utmost importance in spiritual work. Confidentiality and professionalism means that I will not share any details of your card readings with other individuals without your consent. There are times where card readings reveal the need for additional spiritual work. In extreme cases where I do need to share with my spiritual mother, it is to better support your journey and during those times, I will let you know in advance of disclosing any details shared to obtain your consent.
Take notes during the session. Be prepared to write or type things down. Taking notes helps you process and revisit insights later.
Please refrain from recording the session or using recording devices, as recording a card reading is not permitted.
After a card reading, you may experience a range of emotions, you might feel:

These are normal reactions, and you have the right to emotionally process what you have learned as you see fit. Please take care of yourself. Card readings are a snapshot in time of your past, present, and future. Know that you always have free will and the power to change any circumstances in your life should you choose to show up and do the work for yourself. As needed, let yourself reflect and return to your notes after some time. Often, messages make more sense later as events unfold. I am here to support you in any way that I can. And if I cannot support any additional spiritual work you need, I have a network of trusted spiritual elders to refer you to.
